Chee Embrechts is de nom de plume van Greet Embrechts. In het echte leven is ze moeder van vier volwassen kinderen, woont ze in Herentals en werkt ze in een Standaard Boekhandel in het Antwerpse. Noem haar gerust een creatieve duizendpoot, want naast schrijven schildert en boetseert ze ook.
Haar inspiratie haalt ze vooral in Spanje, waar ze sinds negen jaar heel regelmatig alleen naartoe trekt. Reizen, mensen ontmoeten, verhalen sprokkelen … Het is een echte passie geworden.

Su inspiración la encuentra principalmente en España, donde viaja sola con mucha frecuencia desde hace nueve años. Viajar, conocer gente, recopilar historias... Se ha convertido en una verdadera pasión.
